Workshop and preparation in Okinawa for Poemarama’s performance at the Heiva I Osaka, from December 2012
In order to celebrate her two year anniversary of her school, Kayoko, now under the name of Poemarama, decided to compete in the Heiva i Osaka of April 2013.
It was a late decision. However, I accepted to choreography her performance and to organize workshops for her students.
About thirty students participated in technique and Otea workshops that were organized just before the end of the year.
I also taught a class for improvisation at the solo competition.
In two years, her students have made a lot of progress, even though they cannot yet compete with schools that have more than 10 years of experience. It is very encouraging for the future of her school, however.
