Teacher Training Course
Training workshops designed to prepare individuals to become Tahitian dance instructors are taught only in small groups. Programs are designed in accordance to the individual needs of the participants.
I will only admit individuals who I have previously met and assessed into the Teacher Training Course.
The duration of the Teacher Training Course is 18 hours spread across three days.
The lessons are divided into two sections with lectures taking place in the morning and practical workshops in the afternoon. During these workshops, student teachers must choreograph their own sequences and then teach these unique sequences to other students.
I administer two separate workshops for teachers:
- dance technique workshop consisting of multiple levels,
- dance writing workshop (level 1, 2, and 3).
Workshops are administered upon request for a minimum of three students.
After a workshop of three students has been scheduled, other students are permitted to join.
